The eleventh anti-corruption protest continues to demand the immediate effectiveness of Joseph Muscat’s resignation. Due to the placing of barricades in Freedom Square, protestors block off the main exits from Parliament in order to prevent Government MPs from leaving Parliament after Joseph Muscat’s last speech in Parliament. Tension runs high resulting in one journalist being assaulted by members of staff of a Government MP and an altercation between MPs from opposite sides of the House.

Members of Parliament are forced to leave Valletta via old tunnels which linked Parliament with the Valletta ditch.
